About meFrom the prison service to accountant
The face behind Smart Online Accountants Ltd
I am not your typical accountant.
I have a busy family life with 2 young boys and fur baby Rossi (the Hungarian Vizsla) and wife to Rob.
Unlike some, my handbag is not full of tax books and calculators.
It has wipes, dinosaurs, and lipstick.
Breaking the Mould
Over the last 4 years I have been breaking the mould of your typical accountant and supporting hundreds of female entrepreneurs looking for someone to relate to. Someone who can demystify the world of accounts and prevent anxiety and sleepless nights that can often come when you first set up as Self-employed.
I have your back.
In 2014 I set up her business with my Step-father, who has over 30 years of experience and started a new online accountancy practice to reach a wider audience online. Little did I know just how extensive the online world was and how many people I could help across the country. In the 4 years since I set up the business, I have had to learn the ropes, study part-time at college with a young family and really get to know what was involved in running an online business.
More than ‘just’ an accountant
OW! What a journey it has been. In 4 years I have had a huge career change, after studying Law at University and worked in the Prison Service for 6 years, had another child, a puppy and have now become a bestselling author along with 23 other inspiring female entrepreneurs with ‘She who dares’. My business in the last 12 months has grown by a massive 333%, thanks to my coaches, my growth in confidence and support of my family, friends, amazing clients and my Stepfather.
But that’s not all. I am more than just an accountant and will launching brand new online course in October 2019, an networking group in the West Midlands and lots of help and support for female entrepreneurs around money, mindset, and budgeting.
“She’s like your best friend..”
